Terms of Use
By using Levee Line you accept these terms of use: the site offers general information about Sacramento-region home water, dated to its sources, and nothing on it is professional advice.

Information, not advice
Levee Line publishes general information about home water in the Sacramento region. It is not engineering, plumbing, legal, financial or medical advice, and it does not replace a licensed plumber, a certified laboratory, your water supplier or the agency that issues a permit.
Before you buy equipment, change plumbing or rely on a rule, check the current document from the supplier or agency involved. Work on water heaters, gas lines, backflow assemblies and wells is regulated, and permits and licensed trades are often required.
Figures change
Water quality figures come from suppliers' annual reports and change every year. Rebates open, close and change amount, often without notice. Rates, rules and product listings change too. Every figure on this site is dated; if a newer document from the source says something different, the newer document is correct. See how Levee Line sources its numbers.
Outside links
Pages link to suppliers, agencies, certifiers, maker manuals and, on nine pages listed on the ownership page, two stores that share this site's owners. Outside sites are run by others under their own terms. Levee Line does not control their content, prices or availability.
Liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Levee Line and its owners are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including errors, omissions or out-of-date figures.
You may quote short passages with a link back to the page. Text and original graphics on this site belong to its owners; photos and illustrations keep their own terms. These terms may be updated, and the version on this page applies. The privacy page covers what the site collects.
